TANTABARA Magazine – Exploring Hausa People in History
Are you fascinated by the rich history, culture, and language of the Hausa people? Do you have a story to tell, a poem to share, or insightful commentary that sheds light on the vibrant tapestry of Hausa heritage? TANTABARA Magazine invites you to submit your work on the theme “Hausa People in History” for our upcoming feature on the GANDUN KALMOMI website.
We are seeking diverse and engaging articles, poems, and commentaries that highlight the remarkable contributions, traditions, and evolution of the Hausa people throughout history. Whether you have knowledge of influential historical figures, iconic landmarks, language evolution, or captivating cultural aspects, your unique insights and perspectives are welcomed.
Submission Guidelines:
- All submissions must adhere to the theme “Hausa People in History.”
- Articles may take any form, including essays, narratives, biographies, or interviews.
- Poems reflecting Hausa history, language, or cultural experiences are also encouraged.
- Commentaries that offer thought-provoking analysis or exploration of Hausa heritage will be considered.
- Submissions should be a maximum of 1,500 words for essays and poems of not more that 20 lines.
How to Submit:
- Interested contributors should email their submissions to:
admin@gandunkalmomi.org - Please include “TANTABARA Magazine Submission” in the subject line.
- Attach your submission as a Word document, making sure to include your name, email address, and a brief bio in the file.
Important Dates:
- The submission deadline is October 30,2023.
- Selected submissions will be notified via email by November 7, 2023.
- The feature will be published on the GANDUN KALMOMI website and launched during HIBAF23 on 15 December, 2023.
